Volastra – Porciana – Case Pianca

From Volastra towards Porciana

The trail starts from the square of the Church of Nostra Signora della Salute in Volastra. It continues almost level just below the SP 51 road, alongside the terraced vineyards used for the DOC «Le Coste» wine production and well-preserved dry-stone walls, until Case Porciana.

From Porciana to Case Pianca

Beyond the few houses of Porciana, the route enters maritime-pine woodland that has replaced abandoned vineyards. The panoramic section reaches the junction with trail 587 Corniglia - Sella Marvede, just below Case Pianca.

Points of interest

The Park reports cultivated land, maritime-pine woodland and holm-oak woodland along the route. Points of interest include Volastra, Porciana, Case Pianca and the Church of Nostra Signora della Salute. A fountain is available in Volastra.

Walk the trail only in good weather conditions, with suitable footwear and adequate hiking experience. Before departure, always check the Cinque Terre National Park updates on the trail network and follow the signs on site.
