Descrizione

From Vernazza to San Bernardino

The first segment is 507 A, formerly no. 7. The path branches off from the Blue-Green Trail near Vernazza and climbs the ridge rapidly with panoramic sea views. It crosses partly abandoned vineyards and reaches the Comeneco saddle, where it crosses the provincial road to Corniglia before reaching San Bernardino. The Park classifies this section as EE - for expert hikers, with a length of 1.44 km, 588 metres of elevation gain and an indicative uphill time of 2 hours 20 minutes.

From San Bernardino to Cigoletta

Segment 507 B starts from the square of the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora delle Grazie. The path enters woodland, crosses the road to Corniglia twice, crosses provincial road SP51 and climbs to Case Fornacchi, with a panoramic view over Guvano beach. It then continues on an unpaved surface to the Cigoletta pass, at approximately 607 metres above sea level, where it intersects the Alta Via delle Cinque Terre. The Park also classifies this section as EE - for expert hikers; it is 1.73 km long.

From Cigoletta towards Casella and Riccò del Golfo

From Cigoletta, trail 507 continues beyond the National Park boundary into the hinterland. The mapping relation linked to the portal continues towards Casella and ends in Riccò del Golfo. Because no institutional detailed sheets equivalent to those for 507 A and 507 B were found for the section outside the Park, the public description does not add unverified times, elevation data or detailed instructions.
