Scheda sentiero
A short panoramic variant of the Sentiero Verde Azzurro among the terraces and historic hillside plots of Vernazza.
The Via Corone variant is a short pedestrian branch or alternative route closely linked to the Sentiero Verde Azzurro (SVA) network in the hills surrounding Vernazza. The path crosses the Corone locality, an area historically known for its tenacious vineyards clinging to dry-stone walls. Walking along this trail offers an intimate rural experience and a close view of the maintenance work preserving the terraced landscape typical of the Cinque Terre National Park. The route acts as a secondary connection, ideal for hikers wishing to leave the main coastal trail briefly and enjoy a slightly higher and unusual perspective over the seaside village below.
The trail is narrow and develops over stone steps and unpaved ground among cultivated terraces. Take care when the surface is wet because the local stone may become slippery. An access pass, the Cinque Terre Card, is required when the route is included within regulated sections of the Park.
