Val de Lemone

The trail develops in the immediate hinterland of Monterosso al Mare, climbing a hillside section characterised by typical Mediterranean scrub and old terraces. Although short, the route has a steady and pronounced gradient and allows hikers to cross the slope to connect with the main hiking nodes in the area, such as the Sentiero Verde Azzurro (SVA) towards Levanto or the tracks climbing towards Colla di Gritta and the Sanctuary of Soviore. It is mainly used as a connecting variant by hikers wishing to avoid the busiest sections or explore the minor trail network of the National Park.

The surface may be slippery or uneven because of leaves and the humidity typical of Ligurian wooded valleys. Appropriate hiking footwear is required.
