Scheda sentiero
Un panoramico e isolato itinerario forestale che si sviluppa lungo i rilievi boschivi dell'entroterra spezzino, collegando il nodo viario di Colle Gruzze (Carrodano) alla Foce di Vaggi (Levanto).
Trail 631 is a historically important ridge and mid-slope route connecting the upper Val di Vara with the coastal heights behind Levanto and Framura. The itinerary starts from Colle Gruzze, also known as Quattro Strade, in the municipality of Carrodano: an important wooded pass. The route develops mainly along forest roads, broad cart tracks and paths immersed in dense woodland where maritime pines, chestnut groves and typical Mediterranean scrub alternate. It continues across the hilly area above the rural locality of Canegreca, proceeding at altitude with a sequence of alternating climbs and descents. The hike ends at approximately 595 metres above sea level at Foce di Vaggi, also known as Pian dei Vaggi, a major geographical crossroads on the boundary with the municipality of Levanto. From here it is possible to join the trails towards Monte Guaitarola or descend towards the coast.
