Descrizione

This secondary itinerary reveals the secluded farming soul of the Bonassola area. The route starts from the coastal village and initially climbs towards the hillside locality of Serra, situated at approximately 76 metres above sea level, an old rural settlement immersed in Mediterranean scrub. From Serra, the trail continues into the small valley behind the village until it crosses Ponte Panigà, a historic stone structure spanning one of the local hillside streams. Beyond the watercourse, the route starts climbing again alongside dry-stone walls and terraces mainly cultivated with olive trees, until it reaches the settlement of Scernio, at 163 metres above sea level, an important hiking junction connected to the renowned SVA (Sentiero Verdeazzurro) trail towards Levanto.
